HOPE Rides was a great success!

“I attended The Vagina Monologues at Carleton College and was inspired to do something. I became aware of HOPE through a student at Carleton. I wanted to act on my inspiration to do something, so I thought helping to raise money for HOPE Center would be a good thing to do.” — Nick Sinclair, Hot rod artist

Music to HOPE Center’s ears! Nothing excites us more than having someone match their time and talents to the needs of our agency. With funding streams reducing at every turn we are more and more reliant on members of the community to step forward to help further our mission to end domestic violence and sexual assault within Rice County.

Thanks to Nick’s initial inspiration, HOPE Rides was created. Faribault Harley Davidson donated the space and staff to help host this event. With expert planning offered by Machelle Kendrick, a former HOPE board member, a donation of taco meat by Ray Navarro, and help from staff and volunteers of HOPE Center we were up and running.

To create a community that does not tolerate domestic violence and sexual assault, we must be willing to each take our part in ending violence. Our deep appreciation goes to the HOPE Rides Planning team and the Faribault community for your continued support!
